Mandatory Fun

Everybody loves being coerced into some good ole’ fashioned fun, right?! (Cue forced exclamations of glee.) In my quest for Everyday Holiday domination, I’ve decided to take over a portion of my office’s “current events” board. After one semester of wear and tear, this bullet board was looking a little sad, to say the least, and what better pick-me-up than a daily holiday notice? I know, nothing else is fathomable. This may simply be one more item on my daily to-do list but, for now, I am going to attempt to update the board with an Everyday Holiday and a suggestion of how to celebrate it. However, I can’t help but think that may be a bit too imposing; fun should at least be somewhat of a choice.

For those of you who are not one of my co-workers or residents, here’s a little quirky fun for you too. Decipher the meaning of the message below:

Got it? Allow me to work a little magic…

Here’s what’s up for this week:

*Tuesday, January 24: Eskimo Pie Day

*Wednesday, January 25: Broken Hearts Day

*Thursday, January 26: Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day

*Friday, January 27: Thomas Crapper Day (okay, I’ve kept my comments to myself thus far, but wow…)

*Saturday, January 28: Compliment Day (now that’s more like it! Yes, my love language is words of affirmation)

*Sunday, January 29: National Puzzle Day

*Monday, January 30: Fun at Work Day (don’t you love when it all comes full circle?!)

Forcing the Fun,
